If you can get their hands on it. A year or two ago Joe was singing its praises and complaining about lack of supply. In his last month or so he mentioned side effects and it was not suitable for everyone. Reading between the lines, it did not agree with him. In saying that, I have been told a brother in law is on it for weight loss and it is working.

Paying a tenner a month. I still remember getting a letter complaining I had not paid the 'Voluntary Contribution', when I had.

A thousand for the school trip, now it is 2 thousand for transition years trip she says.

Well there's a grand or more that could be saved on the Italy/France/Spain school trip- what happened to day trips around the country

Pencil, paper and the threat of a kick up the hole.

    That's all you need.

Half of the things she's bringing up where they have new costs for trips etc, it could be the student forgetting to tell the mam until the night before.

A Branded School, so to speak.

Misses my chisliers had handed down uniforms, which then went to their younger cousins.

Missus, I would like to see where your uniform list says they have to wear Dubarry deck shoes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,636 ✭✭✭✭Busi_Girl08

Ok so if a kid goes to school in the depths of winter wearing a "non-branded" coat, is the teacher going to take it off them?

Would love to see their statement responding to the Indo/Irish Mirror articles blasting them for leaving kids go cold.

I would call the school's bluff on that, to be honest.
