Oh, so Mother Nature needs a favor?! Well, maybe she should have thought of that when she was besetting us with droughts and floods and poison monkeys. Nature started the fight for survival, and now she wants to quit because she's losing. Well, I say hard cheese……

Electricity is 5 times cheaper in China than Ireland, their industry and farms can be terribly inefficient and they can pretty much kick our arse every time.

I remember listening to a scientist talking about climate change on a pod cast and I was shocked…. he stated that by the time climate change is an actual problem, people would have adapted…ie housing and so on, that its not something he worries about, what keeps him awake at night is the fact that the sun exploding will most likely wipe out the population before climate change will.

The only one of those topics that made it through was Boucher-Hayes's pet topic.

I missed the tax on farmers vs the little people part. Which side is PBH on? Does he want everyone to pay more taxes or just those with room for a pony and drives large 4x4 vehicle?

“After that, we will move to the swimwear and ball gown elements of the competition. I think I've got that section nailed down. I want to though, because in the final round is the Hunger Games, they will be placing a big cache of non-lethal weapons under the RTÉ mast and letting us all race to them, grab your preferred weapon and have at it."

    PBH in speedos!

That was funny. Have to say I didn’t get to listen to PBH until today but it was a much improved show. Not alone did he cover multiple topics but pulling in the climate change guy made it feel like a proper current affairs show unlike the travesty Joe presented for years and Katie continued. I think Sarah might do well too. Katie has dropped to last place in my preference list now.

    Sonic PBH, according to Louise.

Train Seats: Booked and being nicked.

Cost of Living: How do the great unwashed survive, living from paycheck to paycheck?

Death: Anyone who has died and comeback, call us.

    Cost of living

how would you react to someone taking your prebooked seat on a train (PBH reading boards?)

    out of body experience's

big question is, what will actually be covered?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,426 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

    Full-on Partridge

I'd say the show has gone to the dogs, but that happened a long time ago

How the nitrates derrogation is causing more people to have outer body experiences

There should be a mandatory "Safe Pass" required before punters are allowed travel on a train, it would cover 3 things...

1 - How to tell if the seat you are sitting in is yours or assigned to someone else.

2 - How to wait until those getting off the train have gone so you have room to board.

3 - That the practice of conducting a video or voice call through the speakers of a phone on a crowded train irritates your fellow commuter to a level that you may be subject to a physical attack from them that will lead you to have a permanent difference.

We had them in the auld days.

Public Service Announcements. How to cross the road, flying your kite near power lines or the dangers of the PTO.

Will we get callers on Liveline sympathetic over the death of Norman Tebitt

MOD: Enough with the digs at PBH’s private life or your impressions of his social status. Some posts deleted that crossed a line.

Joe will be raging that his shows weren’t taken as the official enquiry into the brothers of buggery.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,418 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

I involuntary sighed when I heard PBH announce that they are going to dedicate the show to this.

All lining up for the compo. Am I entitled to a few bob for each whack of the leather?

    The time is 13:45 !!

    Come on down folks !!!

It's time to play 'IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY BINGO featuring PBH' !!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 558 ✭✭✭Dublin Calling

    Topic change to DEATH.

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators Posts: 11,146 Mod ✭✭✭✭squonk

Agreed. There’s no need for it. This will be covered ad nauseum on every other news show for at least the rest of the week.

I’m slightly heartened by PBH wanting to focus on the practicalities of the enquiry and what people want as opposed to Joe wanting to hear from survivors and angling gut details of where they weee touched.
