    Hi,

Hoping someone can help, been search the www for about two weeks and can't figure out what treadmill to get

    Budget: 1200-1500

Can anyone recommend a treadmill that fits my needs, I'm 6'2 & 105kg and will mainly use it for running but also inclined walking. Because of shift work and kids we both find it hard to get out of one is working and having a treadmill in the Shed will be handy.

    Wants:

    0-20km

    0-12% incline

    Decent motor 2.5 +

Able to use with zwift (not a deal breaker)

    Good warranty

    Also,

Can anyone recommend online places or bricks and mortar stores to buy?

    Thanks in advance

I bought a proform 9 from mcsport in store in February. They were nice to deal with and have a store in Dublin. Doesn't work with zwift but it does have iFit which I didn't like so I do my own thing. Up to 19kmph. It's a big bugger but very sturdy. I'm just 75kg but I don't hear any pounding and the motor is decent 2.75. Delivery is courier who just dropped and ran as it's 92kg. Fair enough but he just left it at the door (we were present). Assembly was handy with decent instructions. Make sure you get a decent Matt to place it on. The one they sell you is perfect. Site below but it has some descriptions that I don't have such as fans. So the model name is the same but maybe it's a newer model. It also folds up but you won't be moving it around. That was important for us to save space.

Bought this one in Jan, getting a lot of use, best thing i ever did. tend to use it a lot more because its just there in the house and you dont have the travel back and forth to a Gym, we bought a rowing machine as well. you can run on it, has incline etc. good features. its getting nearly daily use by me and my wife since Jan and there is no problems with it. folds up as well if you need space. you can go into Decathalon and have a look at it if you needed to as well out by Ikea in Dublin.

    Decathlon

Have you had to do any maintenance on this since you got it? Like lubricant?

What I have myself; runs perfectly with daily use, easy to maintain etc. Only thing I had an issue with was the motherboard went on it (unknown why, nothing burned on it etc. but the repair tech said and was correct that the motherboard replacement usually fixes any problems) and had to buy a new one after four years (around €150) to replace it. Only be aware it's huge and heavy when it arrives (120kg or so and about 2m x 1m x 1m box) but beyond the motherboard issue it's been flawless with daily 1h+ use.

Is that the F63 your talking about?

If you don't mind me asking, what's your weight and height?

Do you sprint, walk and run?

    Thanks agaon

F63, when I started using it I was closeish to the weight limit but I mainly walked up to 7 degree angel. Today I've dropped quite a bit of weight and do walking and jogging on it (interval training).

No chance. Box dimensions on site but it's definitely beyond a golf.

I doubt it personally due to the size and length of the box for anything short of a van in some form but I'm horrible at visualizing how things will fit in a car. As I said the box is about 1m x 1m x 2m with no real way to reduce the size coming in at around 120kg. It's not going to be a one person job to move it no matter how it's delivered.

yeh you have to do that. It tells you every 200km I think to do it, it comes up on the screen. It’s easy to do.

Went to MCSport today and ended up getting the F63.

    Felt sturdy and good lenght.

    Good warranty also

    3.0 HCP

0-15% Incline and a good max weight.

Thanks for the suggestions and help
