How to disable alarm sensor?

I am getting work done on my house and builder is knocking down outside wall. Can someone advise me how to disable one window and a back door sensor on a HKC secure watch panel? I don't have an eng code. Thanks

If it works why replace.

You can either extend the cable or else you can run new cable from control panel to the new door

Are these the only 2 on the loop back to the panel?

If so you could disconnect at the control panel and close of the zone.

If not.

Take off the sensor and join the cables together. eg, alarm to alarm, tamper to tamper.

Also, take a few photos before disconnecting the wires.

Hey Altor. Looking at alarm now. Can I remove sensor with alarm powered on? Not enabled, but mains on?

yes you can , alarm may sound , put your code in to disarm the system upon activation. remember to take the pictures of the wiring first.

Did you work out what devices are on the zone?

No Altor. The window is zone 5 and door is zone 1. The builder removed them cause he knocked the wall. I took the magnet off the door and cable tied it to the sensor. And both are cable tied to the rafters at the minute, so I can use the alarm.

Zone 1 would usually be an entry exit point on the alarm so that will be needed in the future unless you have a different entry point.

Makes sense. I am not sure if cable will reach new door, as it's a few feet out. I'll try to salvage it. If it can be re used, do ye recommend this, or should I upgrade? Tbh, the alarm works ok, and seems to be a good deterrent, so not mad about upgrading, if there's no benefit.

Hi again! I have a secondary alarm keypad at the back door of the house. There is on cable going to it. It can be used to arm and disarm the alarm. Can I disconnect it? There are just 4 wires on the cable.

Yes but if the keypad is IDed to the system you would need to remove it in the device menu.

Another option, if possible, would be to use it in a bed room if you dont have engineer access to do same.
