    Ah yeah, totally hear ya on that. Making changes on a Friday afternoon are a significant no no, however if you've the correct change aproval and management procedures in place you should have very few of these extended outages. I appreciate that things can go wrong, thats why you have a testing phase and that even with that things can still go wrong, that's why you have a rollback plan and in fairness even at that, things can still go sideways, which is why you ensure you have enough resources available to plug the hole in the dam as soon as possible.

    Appreciate also that those green field fintech firms are much better setup (generally) from day 1, rather than grappling with tonnes of legacy issues however again, for a so called "pillar" (Actually not sure are PTSB defined as pillar) bank to be having these regular issues is very worrying. Is the regululator concerned I wonder?

    You'll oftend find as well, as will no doubt be the case here as well, there's very little change the customers will get any level of goodwill back from the bank (reduction in fees etc) as a result of it.

    The desktop/web version appears to be back in action (for me, at that particular point in time) anyway.

    The mobile app is half back. They were clearly doing updates because the interface is different. It authenticated me but the homepage didn't load, and then it timed out, and then logged me out.

    Outage was nothing to do with the maintenance window/internal work.

    I don't believe that for a second.

    code 10102 connection error as I speak. Ulster Bank app was never close to this bad😮

    Ah FFS!

    Edit: Yep, open24.ie not working. Taking my credentials and then logs out.

    Edit2: 18.15 it seems to be back, though is doing something weird when I try to download a statement.

    Before the outage I uninstalled it, reinstalled it and reregistered. I don't know if that's why it's working for me now.

    It's still down! I don't see any attempt from the bank to bring staff in over the weekend as emergency cover to cater to customers they forced online by hollowing out their branch service and then left hanging, broke, or stranded.

    Can't imagine they'd do this if they want to keep customers, must be thousands of their customers now wanting to switch banks after 5 days of no money / services

    Still not working for me on Android or Windows.Get the 10102 error on Android.Site not responding on Windows.I went thru all their site addresses-same no response.Called them today-was surprised to get a connection but gave up after 23 minutes in a queue.The waiting was broken 3 times by someone cutting into the line but saying nothing.Started for me last Friday morning when I saw reports and tried access.Balance still intact at least

    Time to move.

    I ended up having to reinstall the app on android.

    I also had to reset my password (yes I was using the correct password after reinstall)

    Still had some login failures initially after that but now seems good.

    Still not working.Sent an email on 22/4 to their media office.Got a reply on 23/4 with a mob no and name to call.Was no help-just told to be patient.Always the same on android phone-error 10102.Windows never loads up-says the site not responding or too slow

    mine not working since last week...tried all the trouble shooting by re-installing app and new password...rang ptsb yesterday was told they only had issues last thursday but that was resolved and that they would ring me back once they talked to someone in IT...still havent heard back...

    I deleted the android app last Thursday thinking I'll be back in business-not a chance-cannot reinstall the app now.

    (01)2124101 just leave customers in a queue.

    I'm having the same issues with android and windows log in.

    On top of this I got an email yesterday from the insurance company saying they were contacted by TSB to say that a direct debit payment has been returned unpaid but I know there are funds in my account but I can't bloody access it online to prove it!

    I live abroad so I can't call in to a branch either. 😡

    Got a push notification from them there that I had to update the app on android by midnight for some reason. I just ran an update for all my apps and it was in there but no idea what they're at, have never seen that kind of you need to update immediately notification from anyone before.

    That sounds really weird.

    Not related but when I log in, I have a notification prompting me to activate my new card. I didn't get a new card. I bet they have my old address in their records. I clicked into personal settings and go to my address and get "Error you can not view your address because you updated it online 6 months ago".

    I heard on the news this morning Revolut are going to start offering mortgages. I think I will get rid of ptsb altogether. The service is becoming laughable at this stage.

    One cop out I got was to set the device you are using to Irish time.Sounds better than reboot your your device or stand beside a river for a better signal.Another was not to use WiFi but use mobile data.

    They are using version 11.7 as of when the cock up started.I got the usual error message when the app downloads v11.7 on Android:: error 10102 which doesn't mean a lot.On Windows nothing,apart site(s)taking too long to respond.Time for another bank.

    V11.6 gave the same error when trying to open it.

    FWIW, I'm running 11.7.1 of the App (I was asked to update it yesterday as per post above) on an Android 14 phone.

    The App is working fine for me.
