Unbelievable. I'm a photographer and sort of rejected the idea of using one as I thought the ones under €2k would be crap but I was getting requests and started with the mini 3. Yesterday I had it 120 metres over a sports venue and the results are unbelievable.

I've had a few incidents. Flew it in to a tree in high wind, had to climb the tree to retrieve and I've had a few people pissed off at me for flying over their houses… and racing pigeons don't like them, they do close fly by's.

Saw a serious petrol one lifting cables over a building a few weeks ago.

Hi John, a guy I was talking to in a drone shop said to keep the battery s charged from time to time if not they will loose theor charge altogether

With my mini 3 there's only 1 battery, and I'll only be using it for maybe 4 months a year, what would you recommend about keeping good life in the battery when using it and then when it's idle, thanks

Hi @jd06 I'm no expert… I'm not a "gear man" more of a creative, but from what I can gather the batteries for the mini 3 are smart or clever batteries. So they discharge themselves over time to ensure future viability. I have three batteries and they discharge themselves over time, so on the night before a job I'll plug the pack in and more often than not they actually need charging. So… leave them alone, if you've work for it the next day charge it overnight.

    Hope that helps.

Worked out great, but I'd definitely get another battery or 2 and a charging g station. Sometimes I'd forget to charge it after use

I like the drone and I'm trying to get the cows used to it. Picture quality is great and the zoom is great,

It's so quick too, power lines is all iv to watch out for , it's seems to be a great investment so far
