Tonight’s episode really emphasised how Shane and Keith struggled outside of Boyzone -while Ronan had a solo career and im sure made plenty of money I wasn’t a fan to begin with anyways- I guess they didn’t realise it at the time but the money they all made was multiples of what the vast majority would have in their lifetime - they could have retrained as album producers , photographers or whatever - but just seemed to drift - naturally no pity on them per se - more it just feels many of them wasted there lives a bit on reality tv sho1te since aside from boyzone reunions

He couldn't even manage going for a pint with the other 3… no reunion would last long. Particularly without Gately as he was always their best singer.

I'm assuming they weren't losing money on their concerts which surely earned them a good bit (particularly for the reunion tours where they'd have been in charge of more themselves). They were also around at the peak of CD sales. A quick google throws up the following:

6.3 million albums and 8.2 million singles in the UK, with 25 million records sold by 2013 worldwide. 

If you assume the band only saw 50c out of the retail price of their CD sales after everyone else got their cut, that'd be 2.5 million each…

Add in merch, media appearance fees, whatever they got from live performances, their solo efforts and other interests (e.g. Duffy's acting and tyre shop chain) and it should be safe to assume they're all multi-millionaires.

Its a mixed bag when you look online for estimated worth - Ronan leads out significantly at about eur25mill.
