The ranking system is in from tranche 9 onwards which has just closed and which had costings from 4 years ago and tranche 10 which starts shortly will have new costings .The costings were up to 40% out of line on some items so this was my point that some applicants to tranche 9 may decide to withdraw application and apply to tranche 10 with same ranking and updated costings applying.

I don't know if the costings were that far out of line used on some quotes I got. Will be interesting to see the new updated list.

Its mainly the projects that are big users of concrete ie slatted tanks, cattle housing etc that the tams costings were out of line of late due to the massive increase of all concrete related products over last few years.

Can anyone answer the following as I’m getting 2 different answers from people, I hit the €90k limit in the young farmers scheme building a shed, can anyone tell if I’m eligible to get a grant for other items such as a weighing scales and a milk cart having hit the €90k mark already

I believe LESS and Solar schemes are the only ones with independent budgets, so no grant on those til potentially TAMS IV

I think the new slurry storage has an indpendant budget, but wont cover milk cart or scales. But you will get a definitive answer from this podcast, remmeber it been disucsssed.
