AAsked this question before but didn't get an answer. How do you put a cost on own labour? Did fencing job ourselves. Cant find anything about how much per hour is allowed. They gave their cost for the job. I would be happy to get 40% of that. They are asking for the labour cost.

When you go into thectab after receipts it's tots up how much so far you have put.in. there us an add ( I think reciept) when you click there is a drop down box with different options, tractor, rockbreaker, flat trailer labour. There is rates for them all you just put in the hours

At the documents upload section of the claim page you should be able to click add and select these from a drop down menu. Should be the furthest right tab

Can I ask, how long did it take between submitting an application and receiving approval for people here...and if it's not prying was it different for different items and what were the items

Does a tranche often be oversubscribed? Have an application in for a gps unit….bought it after application as for a mobile unit that’s ok. Thought it would be a certainty that I’d get approval but now I’m starting to panic!!!

Hasn't been oversubscribed for a long time but you take a chance buying before approval

So you can’t purchase something under the Tams grant until you are approved? How many applications do they inspect? I presume farm buildings would be inspected anyway

You can purchase certain items mainly ones tge vat is not refundable on. However you carry the risk if not being approved for these items. I applied for the grant for a solar pump last year and bought it after the application went in but before approval. However it was before the election and I got a heads up that everything was going to be approved if your application was in order. Mind you for revenue it's a fixed item

For fixed items you need to wait for approval technically but basically the invoices havevto be dated after the approval date. However you carry the risk of not being approved or of a preapproval inspection I got one for fencing last year.

My approach would be: If you can wait 6-12 months then TAMS might be an option. But if you need something now, just buy it.

It's unusual for it to take 12 months. I think mine took about 4-5 months. But you are right. I put in a farm roadway was unwilling to go down the line of getting planning and then applying for the grant

And once the tranche is closed will it be announced if it was oversubscribed or not?
