How does bullying and chickening out constitute strength?

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

    Leviticus 19:34

Every single thing that Trump does screams pathetic insecurity and weakness.

There is nothing whatsoever about him that demonstrates strength or actual leadership.

On a positive note he won the Club World Cup on Sunday, his team mates looked delighted he was there to celebrate…

Yes, but that doesn't mean there aren't positives to be taken from his term.

None for America, I hasten to add, but as I heard an economic historian describe it the other day, 'Trump is reducing dependence on America, encouraging diversification, making everyone else talk to each other and innovate'.

So after all of this, America will end up smaller, poorer, weaker and more isolated. But thats their problem.

In the same way that Brexit proved a colossal opportunity for Ireland, that was grabbed, the Trump presidency will Make Europe Great Again, only it will be done with new partnerships in Asia and the Americas.

You missed the real positive note: he was roundly booed. And that was in Florida; imagine if it were in L.A.

I would see Donald Trump in a very very positve light if he was to have Putin arrested in Alaska on that visit. Even more so, if he keeps Putin locked up in some dark windowless cell until Putin recalls all the Russian troups from Ukraine and end the war.

This would be the first time I'd be impressed by Donald Trump, - after all it's the most effective way of ending the war in one day or however quickly Putin cracks.

''Chen Yang, a 56-year-old Chinese national who owned Hong Kong Restaurant in Perry, New York, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on July 14 during what his family believed was a routine immigration check-in, according to local station WHAM-TV. Yang had been living in Wyoming County for three decades and was in the process of applying for a green card when he was arrested at the local immigration office.

Yang remains in custody at the ICE detention center in Batavia, New York, pending execution''

Hardly a drug running pistol whipping thug. Why waste time and space with such people

Yor are quoting something. What is the source? Someone stupid enough to confure extradition with execution? 😁

No, "execution" is the term used by ICE, and US officialdom generally, for the implementation of a deportation order. "In custody pending execution" means you are being held in detention while arrangement are made to deport you.

Deportation is not extradition. "Extradition" is only used in relation to people who are removed from the US becaus they are wanted in other countries, and those other countries have applied to the US authorities to arrest them and send them back for trial or imprisonment.

Thanks for the clarification. But it appears to me that ICE are as brutal in their use of language as they are in thier policing tactics.
