Be great to have him back, he brings some spice!

Cant see that happening as Newey leave RB because of Horner.

He probably deserves it too. I don't particularly like the guy, but he's head and shoulders above the two McClaren drivers. Given how close the championship is, recent races have been awful. Since Piastri went off the boil, it's been really poor.

It's still in Landos hands. If Lando wins the sprint and race, he's champion in Qatar no matter what Max or Oscar does. Rules are rules of course but I don't think the skid wear gave him a big advantage to nurse a sick car home to second. Lando is still well capable of winning this.

    This too shall pass.

He’s managed the pressure well with Piastri chasing him but with Verstappen back in the mix is a different type of pressure, sink or swim time for him now.

If Max wins with Norris 2nd in Qatar sprint, main race and Abu Dhabi race, Max only gains 15 points on Norris. Lando can afford to let Max off into the sunset and concentrate on the other 18 drivers.

    This too shall pass.

Was going to point out same. But I'm guessing Horner's name adds clicks to the article, so no harm adding him to the mix.

I also don't think Laurence Stroll will give up control of team to Horner which is (apparently) what Horner wants.

Still see him leading a takeover of Alpine as the obvious next step for him.

Id wonder if that's true in any way. If AM want to win, they need a winning mentality and Horner will bring that.

Time will tell. There is always that Alpine link but Lawrence Stroll is no fool. If he thinks Horner can bring AM success he will go after him

AM have poached so many people from Red Bull it looks like they're rebuilding the team within AM, presumably as a strategy to get Max.

If Newey won't work with Horner surely that's a hard No to hiring him.

Appreciate the logic but driving like that leaves him at the mercy of a mistimed safety car, red flag puncture etc.

He should be looking to win next week and finish it off mathematically before the last race.

Look what happened last time Max needed to win in Abu Dhabi!
