Penn and Teller were great they were real performers and I like Blaine because he plays a character and its more in the character than in the magic though the card on the otherside of the glass still make me scratch my head

As for Keith Barry I'd agree you wouldn't exactly look at the show and sit there going WOW but there are less entertaining ways to spend half an hour.

I had the "pleasure" or being involved in one of his tricks one day! Total joke! I don't think I ended up on the show cos I kept taking the piss outta him! Fair play to him though, he didnt lose his cool and he nearly guessed my card right!

So, what magician has "amazing" tricks... At the end of the day they're all illusions, from what I've seen Barry's stuff is as good as Blane's or any other magician I've seen. And he's not a pretentious prick like Blaine.

I'm not really into the whole magic/illusionist thing so much, but Derren Brown has impressed me the most out of the current crop.

Trick hood/blindfold - you put it on one way you see nothing (put it over the person's head to "prove" it can't be seen through) - put it on the "other way" and you can see everything.
