    I can't find 4 things, on at the same time, that are worth watching let alone recording. I fell I'm missing something now.

    Ditto here, I think I have 7 recordings for the whole week but then there are only two of us in the house. A friend his wife and two daughters are constantly recording, what I don't know but circumstance vary.

    well tonight google box and have I got news for you was on at the same time for me and big brother was on also the same time for my husband so that 3 at once

    I have a VU+ box with Unicable II LNB and dual FBC tuners. Thats 8 in total , but 8 is not the limit of recordings.

    As the FBC tuners cover nearly all transponders , you can set any amount of simultaneous recordings , there is a thread on WOS where a user set over 50 simultaneous recordings.

    I didnt think all that would ever be used , I just wanted the ability to record all of Glastonbury at the same time with no issues.

    However during the Euros , and as an Enigma 2 box can feed other devices over the network , I had 3 instances of people watching both Group final matches at the same time in different windows. 6 of the 8 tuners in use at the same time.

    A usage case I never even thought of at the time.

    I have PCs , Tablets , phones , using tuners on the box all the time both for recordings and live channels……very useful where not everyone wants to watch the same thing at the same time.

    Not sure if thats even possible on the official freesat boxes.

    Reminds me of when the ipad came out , and my initial thoughts were why the hell would anyone buy or need that ? Now I cant imagine not having one.

    freesat updated its interface / UI some of it I like and some I don’t but I’ll get used to it.

    The tv guide section is much cleaner now
