Ordered from Google yesterday, estimated delivery not for 2 weeks, this normal?

Pretty accurate tbh except for some colloquial phrases

Pixel 9 128gb is going for €499 + delivery on amazon.de at the moment if anyone is looking for a cheap upgrade.

Actually looks like it's out of stock now, I can still order it as a business customer for delivery mid September at that price so might come back in.

Pixel arrived earlier than expected. Feels much lighter than the 7 and slightly more rounded/narrower and feels lovely for one handed use.

I do wonder about the sound quality, either the stuff I'm watching online has v poor quality/muffled/kinda blown out/bass-y or it's the phone. It's not all videos/content etc but I'm really noticing some bad quality sound that wasn't apparent before.

Bit of a technical question. When I joined GoMo I was sent a SIM with a new number and got it changed to my old number. When I go to settings on the pixel, the original number is displayed. Can that be changed to the correct number?

    This too shall pass.

This occurs because the phone's "About phone" section is reading the original number programmed onto the SIM card, not your actual number after it has been ported.

If you have access to an iPhone, you can actually change the number on the sim (cant do it on Android), then put back in your phone.

Failing that contact Gomo as they may be able to update the information on your sim card remotely. The number displayed in your phone's settings is usually for informational purposes, and as long as you can make and receive calls and texts with the correct number, the network itself is using the correct one. However, if the wrong number is showing up for people you call, then that is a problem that Gomo needs to address.

Generally the easiest solution is just get a new sim issued - but there may be a cost with that also.

I was with Vodafone before GoMo. I didn't change numbers but was having issues with the phone thinking I'm 085 when I am not. I reviewed the phone settings which didn't fix it. Contacted GoMo who got back to me on a Saturday, iirc. They posted out a new SIM card and I've had no issues with it since.
