Exercise Bike

Due to an injury, I’m fairly restricted movement wise in the gym atm. The physio is letting me at the exercise bike (which I usually avoid) but I need my endorphin fix (used to get lots of happy hormones from the treadmill). What speed (rpm) and distance would be a good target? I have to stay on the saddle because of my injury.

RPM is a measure of cadence not speed. Just like a real bike, how fast you go and the energy you are using depends on the gears/resistance.

Even if the bike displays km/h, it's largely based on an arbitrary estimate. Doesn't mean a lot. Very hard to make a recommendation without knowing the bike model - and your fitness.

Probably better to target a suitable heartrate similar to your treadmill intensity
