The speed of this track is pretty wild. Short lap as well so it always feels really frantic.

Less so , they added gravel traps to the final turn , entry and exit so there should be less of that this year :D

Only saw a few minutes of FP1, at the time Max’s car broke down, so that’s a pleasant surprise seeing him top of the timesheet (soft tyre or not). But they were saying he might have a grid penalty incoming for an engine change (or some component) - presumably that will be for Sundays race rather than the sprint?

Alex Dunne qualified P10 which means he'll start p3 in their Sprint

EDIT that's just been promoted to P9 which means P4 in the reverse grid sprint

something weird happened with the car coming out of the pits for his out lap. Didn't get going until there was 1:18 left on the clock and took the chequered flag a few seconds late. Never got a run.

The lap is so short the TV coverage struggles to show much of anyone’s lap. Great track though and they widened the track in the last two corners it looks like and put some gravel on the outside? Should eliminate most of the farce we had last year with track limits.
Sargeant out qualified Albon, fair play.

Fairly tight sessions, can't help but feel Ferrari are doing what Ferrari do best, and going backwards again.

Red Bull and Max seem to be in a sweet spot here as well, Max is pretty handy around here.
