What a ref! Spraying yellows around the field and both sides are egging him on with their play-acting. A good ref. would have given a couple of yellows instead for play-acting. Not only will this game be the end for one of the best teams in the competition, the ref. will take out some of the best players on the other side.

UEFA have to ask themselves how they arranged this competition so that the best team is playing the second-best team (and host) in a quarter-final. This was built into the draw - both teams topped their group so this was always on the cards in the draw.

Not only does it mean that only one of these teams will make the final. More importantly, the sponsors will be mightily pissed if we end up with Switzerland v. Turkey in the Final.

Nonsense. You think the sponsors should dictate who gets to the final? Honest to God like.

This is the great thing about Cup competitions - big games at any stage, and the draw opening up for smaller clubs/countries (like England) to have a great run.
