I heard an Ai version of a comedian It was uncanny It sounded exactly like him with his snarky tone of voice and it was very funny . This is scary .How long until ai is being used to write tv scripts .

Most people choose the largest phone they can afford as it's useful for watching YouTube TikTok videos. All the android phones I see look similar eg large rectangle s , some have more advanced cameras for pro users. It do,es not cost much to offer 5 different case color choices . The thing I don't like is every new phone will have ai apps built in even though I,ll never use it.And it probably uses more battery power .

On that note, my TA is the number of preinstalled apps with all kinds of unchangeable permissions on any phone, these days. They can't be deactivated or uninstalled. And that's without even going into the "secret" system ones.

No, I don't want a calendar app to be able to listen to my calls or connect to the internet without my permission, nor would I ever use a health and fitness one that could be "harvesting" my personal data and share it with God know who.

****s that use videos to deliver information. My organisation put out a 90 second HD video yesterday that could have been a table. That would have been more useful in every sodding way as a table. If it was a table, I could have looked up the relevant information in seconds, and copied and pasted the information I needed. And it would have taken the **** seconds to put the table together too - way quicker than making a video! And it didn't even have information relevant to me! Instead of seeing that in three seconds I had to watch a poxy 90 second video to find out.

It's such a waste. A waste of time, money, and carbon! Instead of a few bytes of HTML, we have to store, duplicate, and back up probably 400k of data. And everyone who views has to download thousands of times more data than they should and it probably gets stored temporarily on their device. Apart from all the organisation's wasted money and time, what's the carbon footprint of this stupid bloody decision?

And the **** works in the 'Climate Action' division!

TA I keep putting off making a doctor's appointment for a review, finally picked up the phone to ring a few minutes ago. Closed for lunch from 12pm until 2pm. Who the heck needs a two hour lunch break??

You can go to force stop disable in apps /settings if you are concerned about being tracked switch off location. If you don't use maps app.Some apps can be uninstalled depending on what phone you have . Try uninstalling them and see what happens .One problem is some apps have ai built in and there's no way to disable the Ai functions .

the simplest task that you engage in when driving a motor vehicle, is parking it. Pick a suitable space. Slow down / stop and then begin to manoeuvre into said suitable space. Being aware for needs of others to access driveways / property and their own parked vehicles etc…

The amount of people these days, who seemingly regardless of the size of the vehicle they are driving, in my neighbours case, a small hatchback, whose mindset is ‘ just park it where it stops & forget everyone else ‘ is truly mind boggling.. got out of my drive earlier with millimetres to spare past said neighbours car, cûnts. Their grandmother, friends, all the same. Dipshîts.

I needed to defrost my freezer earlier because it's bad with ice. The power switch is right on top and at the back of the fridge. I can't reach it by standing on a chair and stretching out. It's impossible to reach. Ridiculous.

Might be obvious or not ... but you can connect it to an external monitor if you need to use it and/or get stuff off it. And you can get cheap lightweight external monitors too.

Think I’ve been downgraded by a friend. They posted something on FB, I can see the headline of the post but not the content.. instead “ this content isn’t available right now, when this happens, it’s usually because the owner has only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it….” We had a very amiable and friendly conversation on New Year’s day.. between then and now they’ve ignored two messages I’ve sent and now my social media status has seemingly been downgraded 👀. Which is weird as I haven’t done anything on them or had a row of any kind. Aint got patience for that crap. They are hanging by a thread.
