Multiple threads not updating or showing new posts

Turns out this is a boards glitch.

I made a post in the TA thread earlier in response to another users post. That user then replied to my post. Both my post and the reply have been deleted. Can i ask why? I have no idea what mod deleted it and I have received no notification from a mod about it.

The one at 5:44 PM? I've checked the changelog, it doesn't show as deleted by anyone, yet it shows on your profile, but won't load for me either.

Looks like (yet another) glitch. I selected a random thread in AH, to have a look, and it shows posts only up to 30th March, at the moment. None of the more recent posts are showing on it.

I’ve just been through the deleted posts list from noon today and there’s nothing with your name there. I also had a look at your profile and there are no notes or sanctions on your account that are from today. I notice that we have been having site issues very recently so my best guess is your post fell into some sort of technical black hole.

EDIT: Spear just pointed out that a post from you at 5:44pm is on your profile but it does not appear on the thread itself. Very odd. Definitely one for Vanilla to look into via @Boards.ie: Mike when possible please!

Yeah, for example the Russia thread in CA - the last page is currently 3674, but the latest post on that page is from May 8th. So anything after that is not visible - definitely glitching.

I've been getting notifications of new posts to the Russia thread (last one 17-05-24 9:44 by kowloon) but like those above, haven't been able to get past post #11022108/page 3674. Using a different device doesn't help.

I posted that I could only read posts up to May 8th 😁. Could see it initially and then it disappeared like the rest. I'd imagine there's a few posts like mine that need to be cleaned out.

Well, I've gained a page - one single page of 30 posts - since earlier, to take me up to the 09-05-2024. "New posts" list suggests that there are 16 new posts since I last visited.

Edit: … but now suffering the same problem with the "What does the future hold for Donald Trump" thread - stuck at post #35371/page 1179 despite notifications of new posts to the thread.

I think it is transient … depends on the page position… more posts moves it along but it may get stuck next times it has to rollover the page. That's just my hunch. But maybe someone did something to the DRS thread to unblock it?
