Rent increase query

Hi, my landlord has told me today that he wants to increase the rent. He says the rent no longer covers the mortgage on the property. I’m here just over a year. RTB registered tenancy and on HAP. Has anyone any links to where I can read what my rights are. My guess is that he will sell if he can’t cover the mortgage. Just…

Are you seriously still going on about this? Do you not have anything better to do?
Someone says to you that they scored in the top 5% of students because they got 100% in an exam. You lose the plot and tell them that that is a ridiculous claim because you only saw stats which show that one needed to get more than 78% to get into the top 10% and therefore claiming to be in the top 5% with 100% is obviously an outrageous lie 😂
Why does it matter to you so much? Arguing nonsense for the sake of it. Would you still be arguing if the claim was whether 1m (Dav10's figure) was in the top 10% rather than the top 5% (timmys figure)?
