Micro-chips. No elections needed

Very interesting conspiracy theories usually pop up after Davos meetings and this years meeting has been just as entertaining.

The latest one is an advantage to brain microchips, which according to Klaus Schwab, everyone (referring to the audience in Davos) will have in ten years time.

One benefit was that the panelists will get a real-time feedback of how the audience are responding to the topics at hand.

Klaus Schwab also stated about the possibility that there would be no more need for elections as the technology could predict what people would vote. Not a bad idea given how many bad apples have won power in various countries recently. Plus it would cut out any claims of election interfering.

Could this be a reality in the future? Is the technology as close as Klaus Schwab implied?

Did he actually say this stuff? He’s nuts, it’s a wonder how anyone listens to the things he says.

There was a furore here a few years back over voting machines and how they could lead to election interference, hell, in America there was an attempted insurrection due to the words of one man and he thinks people are really going to go for microchips to decide elections for them 😂😂😂

Ya never even mind from a conspiracy theory point of view. Has anyone ever looked at the research for RFID chips in cats and dogs and the rates of cancerous cells developing in the surrounding tissue? Imagine that risk with having this in your brain like how some techies such a Musk are musing or the Muppets getting one implanted in their hands for stuff like payments and that. Think I remember one company trialling it to get onsite in place of a card

It's one thing if you are profoundly disabled such as locked in syndrome, it might be worth the risk to enable some bit of comfort but you'd want to be a complete numpty to want this otherwise no matter the reasoning

This has been claimed by conspiracy theorists for decades.

The vaccines for swine flu were also supposed to have microchips.

A lot of the idea comes from biblical mark of the beast stuff. It's only dressed up as more sci fi than fantasy to appeal to a wider audience.

Also not sure how this microchips in 10 years thing will be affected by the not owning things in 5 years...
