The fine motorway system that gets 3 or 4 crews in stolen cars out as far as wexford town or tipp 4 or 5 time a week. Last night kildare and meath got hammered with tool and car thefts , it was wicklow the night before 4 premises broken into, vape shops and phone shops.

te vast vast majority of new resources , people cars equipment goes to three or four stations in the city center. As i ve said good for them areas but bad for the rest of the country, One of the huge time vacuums is the IMS system which isnt used in dublin . all the national units are biased and primarily operate in dublin

but ye us vultures in the rest of the country are assholes for asking for at least a chance to make their patch a little bit safer and hopefully not be killed while doing it

I didn't resort to name calling, stop misrepresenting me and putting words in my mouth. They're not assholes, they're just doing what they do, looking for more. Cities support countries economically and culturally.

Dublin is the biggest urban centre in Ireland, it's been under policed for years, this thread has been complaining about it for well over a year. People have been moaning about it for years, crying out for the capital to be safer, crying out for it to be policed properly, crying out for undesirables to be checked and moved on, crying out for safe travel throughout the city, crying out for the drug problem to be tackled.

Now we step up the policing and almost immediately we have the likes of yourself complaining.

    Sweet Jesus 😏

did you see the times i said its a good thing a positive thing that there has been an increase in policing in the center of the city . unfortunately its a short term solution and has knock on effects for the rest of us as repeatedly pointed out

if you choose to ignore the real life actual fact that this is being done at the cost of the rest of the country. thats up to yourself ,

the world outside the M50 exists and not everyone is dependent on dublin for a livelihood but we are effected by things that happen there

Dublin's safety isn’t draining resources from other parts of the country. In fact, a safer, more stable Dublin benefits all of Ireland by driving economic growth, tourism, and investment, which ripple out to the rest of the country. It's about balance, not a zero sum game. You have to think beyond the pale, stop regionalising everything and start thinking as a nation.
