OUTLOOK:

IMT likely to fall a bit to Friday 19 Jan (3.2) then would probably rise to about 4.5 to 5.0 by end of January.

Both MAX and MIN could change, for MAX 14 or above is expected in zonal flow) and MIN looks capable of going to -6 at least.

PRC will continue to edge downward in general to 19 Jan (low point 30%), then it looks fairly wet, if twice normal fell after 19 Jan, it would produce an outcome of about 95 to 100 per cent; a normal amount would end up at 57%, 1.5 times normal would be good for 70% PRC. (our lowest PRC forecast is 60 per cent).

SUN will probably stay around 150% to end of week, a cloudier regime seems likely, if it's just a normal 2-3 hrs a day, the outcome would be around 130%, similar to our maximum forecast of 128%.

You came as close as anybody on number of storms, it was a season of many storms and relatively few hurricanes. I had a similar forecast and scored just a bit better because of a lower guess on majors. Tae laidir was robbed when they did not name the NOV storm in Nicaragua. I was sure they were about to do so. Also one or two tropical storms were borderline cat-1 hurricanes. If season count was 21 10 3 and not 20 7 3, some of us would have done a lot better in ranks. But it is what it is.
