When there's a waiting room in place to get into the sale, it does kick you out after a number of searches alright. From my experience, its five searches (but I might be misremembering that).

Friday on sale. Presales have different allocations, so might be worth trying them all if you want particular seats...

Tried all presales, past buyer had the best seats available at the time, blk114, nor perfect, but will do. Not cheap though

It's impossible for anyone to say as nobody knows the % of the tickets that were allocated from the gold circle. Even less reliable is the issue is the waiting room. If you get a good spot in the queue, you've a good shot. If you get a high number, you're goosed.

Only promoter and ticketmaster know what gold circle allocation is left. Keeping checking every day before general as they will release bunches of all types

1st time I've ever done this whole queue pandemonium rush for tickets... 2000th in queue, get in ...no tickets available. How do 2000 people (even allowing for early bird) buy out at 45,000 seater stadium

It's 10% when for network presales (3). Usually the same for promoter presale. Artist presale can be anything.

That said, I wouldn't say nearly all sold on presale. A good portion sure but I think people underestimate demand for gigs. 30,000 tickets could be sold in ten minutes of going on sale.

Nah up to 90% now.

3 mobile users allotment is 10% for Olympia and 3 arena shows but artist/promoter presale % is amended through presale window based on demand.

I think the issue is transparency. As you say, it can be anything upto whatever is left after other presales. Could be 10%, could be 90%. The only real indicator is that if they announce another date during a presale window, they likely had a higher allocation.

Yeah but no artist/agent/promoter is going to announce “only 10,000 left for general sale for Pink in the aviva”.

or even a quick scan on what’s being offered on presale tells, you could tell within an hour that the smile show was never going to do well and good seats would be handy on general

Any idea when Ticketmaster open the resale or transfer option. Have tickets for both nights. Wouldn't mind freeing up 500 quid before Xmas.
