I said your opinions were pathetic meaning that they were worthy of pity and empathy, not to put you down or refer to you specifically as pathetic.

I genuinely feel sorry for you that you feel the need to be so scornful of strangers, and find small talk so repellent.

You think I’m being a “dick” for saying that but you presented your views and I reacted honestly and fairly: it’s not healthy or well-adjusted, in my view, to be so averse to making small talk with strangers. It just isn’t.

Twice during this discussion you blamed “people like” me for turning you into an introvert, I find that very illuminating that you blame other people for your own problems.

I’m not a dick when I disagree with your extreme opinions and it’s not my fault you’re an introvert. You need to look in the mirror if you’re looking for someone to blame for these issues you’re having.

I really wish you nothing but the best for you and anyone who has such a hard time rubbing elbows with strangers. It’s a big world out there and we all need to live in it together.
