Can't fake your age in this day and age - with everything practically on real time with social media. He would have gone to school, he has neighbours friends, relations etc. If he was 20 and trying to pretend he was 16, he'd be outed within 10 minutes on twitter, instagram, facebook, and whatever other social media outlets there are.
