Idiots crash everyday on good roads like motorways on perfectly clear days so anyone blaming a single crash on the GAA is only looking for controversy.

No gun to anyone's head to get in the car today

    Safe journeys to all

Hopefully everyone gets to the match and home again safely.

Is there much or any history of a county doing a junior/intermediate/senior triple ?

The red warning is very much geared towards coastal areas up the west coast. Peterswell is not on the coast, or very close to it. You'll see less wind in Croke Park than in Peterswell this afternoon, and as the storm tracks northwest the worst of it will pass before they go home.

It's up to everyone to decide for themselves whether they want to take the miniscule risk of traveling east on a wintery day or not. Hand wringing and catastrophising and indeed demonizing anyone traveling is just plain wrong.

Let's close the whole country down until the summer sure.....

Weather looks a lot tamer than it is down here.

Terrible from the umpires. Sliotar was over the line.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,888 ✭✭✭blackcard

Umpires should have seen that was a goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,163 ✭✭✭evolvingtipperary101

The wind was in their eyes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,745 ✭✭✭kksaints

Ref missed a headbutt there from Molloy. That should have been a red.

    Could have beem a red

Some serious fxck up from umpires. They have to be better positioned than that. 100 percent the ball was over the line.

The thing that annoys me about Sean Stack is he gives the soft frees and then lets blatant frees go.

You could clearly see him place it back over the line. Hopefully the smart sliotar if used with goal line tech will be able to solve this in the future.

Headbutt missed too but with all the play acting going on in those situations I can see why the ref thought it was nothing. Boy who cried wolf situation.

Very scrappy match so far with terrible decisions by the officials but also some good scores and excellent blocks and hooks.

Seems officialdom will be the hot topic again.

Two terrible missed calls, so far

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,828 ✭✭✭BENDYBINN

2 kilkenny lads should have got the line

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,906 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Is he just going to allow players to throw the ball everytime. Its destroying the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,906 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Thats a clear throw to the loughlan gaels centre back for the score. Dreadful reffing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,906 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Huw lawlor booked for no reason. Mad stuff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,906 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Hes missed another red card there. Holy hell. Dangerous play pushing someone over the hoarding like that.

And finds 7 mins to add on. Mad stuff.

Surely it's a yellow card at least for the push over the hoardings. It's such a reckless and unnecessary thing to do.

It looks like a full house and a nice day when looking at the Hawkeye view.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,163 ✭✭✭evolvingtipperary101

Who has the wind? Looks like it's swirling all over the gaff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,906 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Hard to tell lad. Rain coming down now heavy.

Referee having to much of a hand on the result so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,906 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Id say thomas's will see a red fairly shortly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,768 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

Good game so far despite some cynical play. More than enough fine performances from both forwards and backs so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,906 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Terrible day in there. Football should be interesting later.

  • Registered Users Posts: 97 ✭✭hurlaway

    And the two blind umpires

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,888 ✭✭✭blackcard

OLG had it in the first half, didn't do near enough with it

Cowardly act....Stack seems to be giving everything to Thomas's
