Thought I'd make a thread. To get tickets you need to register (like Taylor Swift Eras tour).

Just registered. Hoping to bring my little sister. Do we have any idea about prices?

No way. I refuse to buy any tkt unless they cost €500 each minimum hopefully €700.

There's a three presale too. It's already up on the app. I'll be using my code but other people can probably get you one on the presale code request thread if you're quick.

Can anyone tell me why there is an American Express presale for Dublin when American Express havent operated in this country in over 5 years.

I've registered, not 100% I'll buy tickets but tempted. Her new album is really good

    Glasgow prices

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,015 ✭✭✭Zardoz

Thats some increase from last year , what were they 50 euro flat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,454 ✭✭✭Jaffa3000

Platinum tickets will be turned on as well. I’d love to go but not paying over 80 for a ticket

arena shows are more expensive to run, plus second album means she can bump up her price as it’s going to be a proper show, not a 50 minute show like last time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46 Capone222

Hopefully those prices are for VIP and that there aren't too many allocated as VIP.

I see she'll be selling some "silver star" tickets for around €20 at a later date, but the whole notion of having a few cheap tickets so it's affordable for people to attend the show is taking the piss if other fans have to pay for overpriced VIP tickets.

Also 3Arena say Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and standing is strictly over 14s

I doubt that will be strictly enforced if the kids/teens look reasonably old but something to keep in mind.

Linking the FAQ here, transfer and resale will both be available.

Having fans rush into displaying their interest with no guarantee of a ticket.

Then gift out a few cheapos in a lucky dip later on has all the vibes of Marie Antoinette.

Second night on the 1 May added

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,005 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

She has a bigger catalogue now and is more popular. Shouldn't be any surprise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46 Capone222

€50 was even a lot for a brand new artist. She only had a few songs and had to sing a few covers to even make a 50 minute set list. I think one of her support artists had a longer set time.

I won't be paying more than €80 though. I'm hoping the more expensive tickets are the VIP pit tickets and that the rest will be reasonably priced.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,454 ✭✭✭Jaffa3000

Shes no ordinary no new artist and pop works differently to everything else. Not many songs bigger than Drivers License and Good 4 U in the past 10 years, though I do agree generally.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,015 ✭✭✭Zardoz

The prices for Glasgow are normal priced tickets. £64-144

VIP and Platinum will be far more than that.

Her Copenhagen ticket prices for example are

    Priser: PL1: 1100,- / PL2U (stå): 800,- / PL2: 800,- / PL3: 600,- PL4: 450,- / PL5: 300

Thats 147 euro for category 1 seats, 110 euro for standing and category 2 seats, 80 euro for category 3, 60 euro for category 4 and 40 euro for category 5.

The prices are ridiculous for an artist with 2 albums, prices are just daft now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46 Capone222

    @Zardoz

Apparently these are the Spanish prices, not sure what 'track' means.

What is the price of tickets to see Olivia Rodrigo?

The prices for Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS tour for Madrid and Barcelona are already known, with management fees:

    • Track: €90.50
    • Grade 1st category: €119
    • Grade 2nd category_ €96.50
    • Grade 3rd category: €79.50
    • Fourth grade category: €62.50

The VIP packages according to VIP nation are pit tickets so that will probably rule some people out of trying to get them if their kids are under 14, although I don't think 3Arena are that strict about enforcing the age policy.

Sure belters only have about 5 songs and they sold out 3 arena within minutes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,015 ✭✭✭Zardoz

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,735 ✭✭✭Fanirish

the €150 is a vip package for the shows on the tour. It’s not the standard or average price for a ticket to see her in Dublin so it’s not really valid.

that’s like using the price of business class ticket on aer lingus and say “Aer lingus charging €5000 to go New York” or using the hospitality ticket price for match in the Aviva.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,015 ✭✭✭Zardoz

150 euro tickets are not VIP, stop making stuff up.

Last week you said she was playing St Annes and the Marquee, you are just making stuff up.

Is anyone else having problems trying to register for a code? Keeps telling me I cannot be verified even though I’m using correct phone number & email address linked to Ticketmaster?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4 Florrie06

Finally managed to register… only worked for me when using on a laptop as opposed to mobile. Changed to all caps and it finally worked after numerous attempts ? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Got a code this time. Anyone else get one/get waitlisted?

Got waitlisted. I'm sick over it, my daughter really wanted to go - she's a huge fan. This BS of excluding people from even trying to get tickets is really ticking me off.

Got a code this time, the missus didn't. Exactly the opposite to last time (Taylor Swift). My account always gets queue position 30k+ though while the missus' usually gets ~5k, so I don't have high hopes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 961 ✭✭✭furrybones

I signed up for both the UK and Irish tour. My waitlist email is from Ticketmaster .co.uk. What are the chances that I'll get an email from .ie?

Nevermind.. got one from .ie too... again, waitlisted. :(

One waitlist and haven't received any emails on the other accounts yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 412 ✭✭sabrewulf

I only received a response to the Irish one for Olivia Rodrigo.

Last time with Taylor Swift I had registrations in about five more countries in. Received the initial confirmation that my registration was successful and I should keep an eye on my inbox for the eligible/waitlist email. I never heard again from any of them (even though accounts exist with the same email).

So, my expectations are fairly low for this one as well. Have registrations in for NL, DE, CH and FR and have not received anything yet.

Got a code and also have a code for the Three presale this morning. Still not confident but fingers crossed.

Waitlisted for this (same with Taylor Swift) - gutted

Got three standing for the first night. I'm kind of stunned, to be honest. Furthermore, I screwed up and initially put in for two, before I realised I needed three; went back in and changed the order, convinced this would be a disaster. But three popped up. €95.80, if anyone's wondering.

Got through the queue at 8 minutes past 10 and all tickets gone.

Hopefully will have better luck with tomorrow's attempt.

I was 1965 in the queue for Tuesday and 2645 for Wednesday. No joy when I eventually got through. Fingers crossed for tomorow.

Happy to swap my Olivia Rodrigo tickets for a couple of Taylor Swift tickets if anyone interested.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,804 ✭✭✭delbertgrady

I don't say this to brag; I'm just stunned that, for once, I was straight into the purchase page. I was never even in a queue this morning. For Taylor Swift and Coldplay, when I was always way down the queue (in the thousands), I used to wonder who were these people that apparently got through immediately. Turns out today, I was one of those people.

Is tomorrow's sale also a code? I thought the registration pre-sale was today.

3 presale today. Tomorrows sale is general but you need a code to access it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 961 ✭✭✭furrybones

Thanks. I was hoping there was some hope.

I'm absolutely gutted and fuming over how TM are getting away with this BS of excluding people from even accessing the sale.

Same. I was told there was 1 ahead of me for the first date(Must have been you 😅). I was #1750 for the second date even though I had entered that one earlier because I had to re-enter my login details for the other account.

Got offered 2 seated tickets first but they were too expensive, searched again and got 2 standing, they cost more than I wanted to pay but not too bad I suppose 😊

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 491 ✭✭newbie18892

Disappointed. Got a pair of tickets in the basket but had an error message at the very end. Went back and all seem to be gone. Waitlisted on the general sale too.

I agree but I think it’s down to the money hungry artists and their management more so than Ticketmaster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 107 ✭✭Aladdin Sane

I bagged 2 tickets for night 1 at €71 each. That’s the Christmas shopping started 😉
