How fcuking Kodaline is a headliner and she is not blows my mind. Slot her in there instead of that shower. That being said I would prefer to see her in a tent, hopefully at the same time as Kodaline is on

Probably easier to follow the directions on the website and avoid an argument. If you approach Stradbally from the North you'll be sent to Red.

"Family Weekend Ticket holders can park their cars in the designated Family Car Park located in the Stradbally GAA Club off the Timahoe Road.

Please note, you must have a family weekend ticket in order to park in the Family Car Park. You will need a family wristband to re-enter the car park.

    From Dublin/ North – M7 Motorway southbound

Pass holders will take the M9 to Junction 3 and join the N78 to Athy.
At roundabout take first left onto the new Athy Distributor Road and follow the N78 towards Kilkenny via Ballylinan.
At junction between N78 and N80, turn right towards Stradbally.
Continue to Court Square and turn left onto the Timahoe Road.
Follow signs for Family Camping which is located in Stradbally GAA Club on left hand side."

A load of the stage times went up last week on the app for Trenchtown, Jerry Fish, Croi and I think SD which surprised me given previous years but they all were taken down again swiftly, probably not set in stone, reckon they will be revealed today/tomorrow.

Yeah I noticed some were up for Trenchtown etc. but they were wrong I think - some acts in Trenchtown listed as playing until 4am Thursday/Friday morning when everything is over at midnight on the Thursday.

Memory prolly not the best but vaguely recall having to pay for the festival "brochure" one year to get the times. If they were released beforehand it was less than 24 hours out.

Unsure why this has been a part of FR culture, but little they do makes sense to me in fairness.

I've only been to EP in 2022 & 2023 but Oscar Wilde (and Charlie Chaplin) were located where Cosmic Avenue Boutique have taken over this year.

This is 100% - they still publish a booklet and lanyard. We found last year's in our rucksack still sealed in the bag it comes in when we started to pack for Glastonbury this year. Which begs the question, these are likely already printed - so they know the f*cking stage times, right? Stage times were likely decided a month ago to allow time for these to be printed/proofed and set back for amendments as required.

I wonder are many planning on going down with the campervans/caravans on Wednesday? We're undecided but don't want to arrive Thursday to find it filling up and being sent up the back which is a fair bit of extra distance on the walk in and out.

The map confirms no showers in this area either, as predicted by some earlier in the thread. Even if you're up the front close to the arena entrance it's a 2km walk each way to the showers in gen pop. Not ideal. I reckon the majority of caravans/campers at EP don't have a shower in them.

Video account has no monthly/yearly fee, and just takes the cost from your account/cc when you go through it. 60c cheaper per trip too:

This always just feels petty to me, designed to p*ss people off; you want people to actually go to the music don't you, then tell them who on and when?

Have a caravan ticket but no ticket. I was planning on not going, but the closer it's getting, the more I am thinking of getting 1 and heading down alone (wife can't come now) Tickets are scarce though which is not going to get FR to change their policy unfortunately.

some acts have known their slot/timing a year as it’s written in to the contract “headline electric arena on Saturday night” etc

Absolutely. Plus, there is an added element where, for neurodivergent folk, a bit of a decent lead-in time is essential as there is a strong desire to formulate (to a degree) some sort of structure, so as to get a handle on the when, the who, the what etc. in order to settle the mind and avoid last minute overwhelm, especially when you are juggling other logistical stuff going on in the week running up to EP

I have a belter of a 2 person tent available for anyone that wants to really impress the other half or has some serious making up to do! We were going spoiling ourselves this year as we'd only been with the kids before and went all out and got a 2 person tent for 'Under the Stars - at €1925! (yes, madness, I know now……) Can't go now. Am willing to consider any reasonable offer and can meet up, speak on the phone or whatever. I'm depressed enough about not being able to go but if I've to take the full hit on the tent as well I don't know what I'll do!!

This is located in the walled garden hub and is the top end of the luxury tents available so you fully enjoy the festival experience in complete comfort and luxury.

The bell tents include a double bed with sheets, duvets, pillows and bedding. Sockets inside as well as lighting, table and chairs.

Full access then to premium toilets, private showers, chill out lounge, premium bar, 24hr security, concierge service and direct arena access (any of you who know the layout know how close it is - 5 min walk max to main stage.) Complimentary breakfast also included.

    PM for more details.

    I know, i know, I know….

The way we were looking at it was - we love EP, we hadn't been there on our own before, we're shoving on, we were putting a bit away every week for it, you'd spend the same if not more going to a fancy 5 star hotel for 4 nights so that justified it in our minds!

Funk Tribu is gonna be a bit different to the normal copy and paste acts in Terminus. Really looking forward to his set. His Hör set is deadly:

think the 1L jameson stout edition I picked up in duty free for my weekend tipple will provide me with suitable solace at missing that phenomenal experience.

just sell them back on ticketmaster, they'll be gone within the hour. Family member who decided to pull out as "there's **** all worth seeing" sold hers in 20 mins yesterday.

just re-read your post, if they're guest camping tickets, they may not be transferable if you didn't pay for them in the first place and this is not the place to be flogging them.
