What do you do when Boards.ie goes down?

Last night Boards.ie went down for a few hours.

I don't really replace it with other websites. I'm a member of other message Boards but don't really bother with them.

I might check Twitter, etc to see if anybody is Tweeting about the site or to see when it's back.

What do you do when Boards.ie goes down?

I realised how much I don’t engage in social media platforms outside this place.

I’ve never taken to twitter , instagram, facebook or any of the other thing’s available.

If boards is ever gone I’m probably done in these sort of arenas.

I head over to boards twitter to hear what happened, why it happened, how long they expect to be down, and an apology for the downtime.

When the site came back up I headed into Feedback & Site Announcements to read any additional info and explanation provided to the site members from management or administration.

Cracked opened a Teelings single malt and went to YouTube, I did find it funny for a few minutes after being called a Kremlinbot and then it went down,

Not really on twitter or other sites haven't gotten around to Reddit not abig fan of the set up ,

Not sure what I'd do without boards might have to actually talk to real people

Do people still own TV sets? Last one I bought has been sitting in it's box in the garage for about 10 years, no one was motivated to take it any further.

Thankfully Boards is completely free so I suppose it would be churlish to complain about it going AWOL for a few hours.

Ah here in Switzerland the licence is required if you have any device capable of watching or listening to public TV/Radio, so basically everyone needs one, regardless of having a TV.

It's what they want to bring in here eventually anything capable of receiving public broadcasts will need to pay a broadcasting charge,and they want revenue to collect it ,

a bit hard to do that on than phone lol. As for T.Vs yes I have one I use and two I have sitting up that I have not used in years lol.

How about Computers? I actually do not have a working computer or even Internet connection. Why would I? You can do everything at least I can that I want to on the phone.

Yes there is the odd time I miss it but not that much.
