Well, the bizarre JCvD/Liam Brady bit was the highlight and not really a major one at that, they could've had another highlight if Blunt had been given more time maybe instead of the Dawson fella.

I thought the Juno Dawson segment was really good. People are very quick to say “I don’t want my kids reading about this!” But it’s 2023, they already are. I’ve had a look at a few PDFs online and it just seems really, really, rational? It would have been very beneficial to me. That age ain’t kind to queer folk.

I dunno there’s more activity and “life” to it than Tubs version - I think Kielty is more “entertaining” but given his background in comedy there’s no surprise there- American TV is full of ex comedians heading up chat shows.

I wouldn’t call the show “gick” but it’s more “light entertainment” now - it’s not really TLLS anymore but then again it probably hasn’t been TLLS since Gay Byrne left- it’s just another “entertainment” show.

I can watch this whereas tubridy was unwatchable.

Keilty is clearly quick witted whereas tubridy would be rooting for his cards when something unusual was said.

That said, keilty is a disappointment interview wise. He is not very skilled at asking the questions, better once he gets into it.
