Yea, GAA heads. Given godlike status in the parish, club and county, but that stands for little once they get off the plane elsewhere.

I actually think some RTE types could make a career for themselves in the UK. TV media there continuously keen to support and encourage regional accents. To their ears that includes those with 'a soft Irish accent' as I've heard it described.

Most if not all politicians and ministers, bar maybe Bertie just for the peace process, Leo might have milliseconds of fame internationally but Micheal is so forgettably beige as to blend into the background.
