No Corey Cadby which effectively proves he does not have a VISA to enter the UK.

Christian Perez, the other tour card holder missing, is actively in the process of getting his VISA but it's taking longer than expected.

All games will be streamed live in PDC.tv for the first time this year.

I note Conor Heneghan is in this along with the other ROI tour card holders

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Michael Flynn is in first round as well

Love this tournament. Multiple boards, huge field, open draw. Great comp altogether

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 692 ✭✭✭US3

Probably the biggest Irish field we've ever had at a tournament. Hopefully one of them have a good run, was it last year keane got to semis or is he defending that ?

Last year, he and WOC both made the semi finals

It's great, but I often feel like the really fun bit is over by Friday afternoon. By the time you settle down to watch it on Friday evening/Saturday afternoon it's back to a normal competition with the top guys hogging the main stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

I get what you mean, but the open draw and large field usually means a few underdogs to shout for and/or a meeting of top 8 guys much earlier in the comp than usual

11am start, Conor Henaghan is one of the first players on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Off to a bumpy start on screen scores not updating on all the side board streams

    Conor Heneghan is through

Dylan Slevin through. Demolished Maik Kuivenhoeven 6-0 just shy of 100 average

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,511 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

    His finishing was super

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

stream said about a 98 average, but darts connect showing about 94.

    Still, super performance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 692 ✭✭✭US3

2/3 for the Irish so far and Flynn is beating Lynn 3-2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Michael Flynn wins 6-4

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

2nd round games for the Irish lads:

    Dylan Slevin vs Shaun Wilkinson

    Michael Flynn vs Karel Sedlacek

    Conor Heneghan vs Nick Kenny

    Jon O'Shea vs Graham Usher

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,325 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Slevin should win. Other three are tough games. Great that they've all got to the second round and into the money.

    O Shea loses 6-5

    Slevin wins 6-4

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

O'Shea was unlucky, both players kept holding their throws going into deciding leg and O'Shea got off to a bad start

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Heneghan breaks Kenny to win a last leg decider

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Conor Heneghan 11 dart leg against the throw to win 6-5

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Mickey Mansell into R3 too 6-4 win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Sedlacek was too much for Flynn

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Steve Lennon awful on the doubles so far

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,325 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Lennon out in L96. In real danger of losing his tour card in my opinion.

Micky Mansell loses to Suljovic 6-3 in L96.

Both Keane Barry and Willie O'Connor on now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Keane Barry through as is O Connor, hopefully both go on runs similar to last year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

O'Connor joins him. Both won comfortably

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 437 ✭✭TipsyMcStagge

Willie O Connor beats Devon Petersen 6-2

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,325 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Devon Petersen's throw is terrible. He's all over the place. He's another I think loses their card this year.

Really good game with Gian Van Veen and Jim Williams on board 4

I'm a big fan of Jim Williams, I think he could do some real damage in the PDC. He played great.

Dylan Slevin next up on board 4.

Slevin wins. Conor Heneghan on his way out though

Dylan Slevin plays Joe Cullen and Keane Barry plays Merv King. Willie O Connor plays Wattimena.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,325 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Tough draws. Willie is favourite to go through though.

MvG v Chizzy is a standout match.

Slevin out 10-7 to Cullen but great experience for the lad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,841 ✭✭✭roosterman71

Littler out after averaging 100. He should be a force in the future if he keeps his head

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,798 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

    O'Connor lethal against Wattimena 10-1.

Aspinal pulled out some win against Soutar
