Apologies if this is a very basic question, but I have no clue about this at all. Are there specialist companies or individuals who supply and fit smoke, heat, and CO alarms for your home, rather than just commercial premises? Or do you buy the alarms yourself and organise an electrician to fit them? I have just moved in…

No experience of the Amazon offering.
The Ei650RF has been used the country over for many years and has very reliable. I would be going with that one. I think they are in the region of €50ish each + vat.
The current standards allow the use of 10YR battery alarms to enhance the number of alarms in existing domestic premises where hardwiring is not feasible.

New work I think we only allow mains alarms on dedicated circuit, wireless interconnect allowed , I would think
