seeing as the riddle has been solved the thread could be closed but I will leave it open for now because to be fair the title lends itself to a reasonable discussion about things we feel we couldn’t be without. If it stagnates I’ll close it off mind.

As for myself I couldn’t live without music. Obviously family etc also but if I had to pick a “thing” that would be it. I’d go absolutely insane.

Smart phone and the internet. I realise if I leave my phone in the car or bedroom its a panic to know where it is. I take it everywhere !!

Numbers dont "exist" as such - they are a man-made concept used to describe the world around us.

Literally everything can be explained in terms of numbers in various levels of detail - walking, running, breathing, eating, etc. All things essential to life - but you are not "using" numbers when you do these things. Neither are you "using" 1s and 0s when you use a computer
