Dylan slevin makes the semi final in both DT18 and 19 today to move into 4th in dev tour OoM. He's a fair bit behind the top 2 though

German Darts open on now. Big tournament for Steve Lennon to hold onto his tour card

I see Steve Lennon made last 16 of the pro tour event yesterday. Needs another couple of good runs in the events today and tomorrow badly to help him retain his tour card

He's about 12k off keeping his card at the moment according to the 'Post World Championships' Ranks on Dartsrankings.

Post World Championship Order of Merit (dartsrankings.com)

He has a lot of work to do, might need to make the third round minimum of the Worlds although he's not absolutely guaranteed to be in the Worlds yet. He is currently in the Players Championships though.

John O'Shea is in a worse position, he's 10k off retaining his tour card but he's nowhere near the qualifying spots for the Worlds and he's not currently in the Players Championships either. He's relying on qualifying for the Worlds through the PDC Tour Card Holder qualifier to have any chance of keeping his card.

Lennon does have ET13 in Oct to try to make up some ground, but yep needs some runs in these PC events or a decent run at the worlds/players finals.

O Shea is goosed you would have to feel

Also, just spotted Keane Barry is currently outside the pro tour top 64 and a decent bit off getting a place at the players championship finals

Keane Barry is having a nightmare year considering how good he was a year or two ago

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,498 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

all out in round 2 barring a miracle comeback by O Connor here

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,498 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Lennon makes it through round 1 today. WOC, Slevin, Mansell all out. O Shea and Barry playing now

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,498 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Lennon throws away a 4-1 lead against Gurney and loses 6-4 in round 2

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,498 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

ET13 starts today. Steven Lennon, Dylan Slevin and Mickey Mansell all in action. Keane Barry not playing but is currently 32/32 in terms of the qualification spots for the European Championship final event, if Gabriel Clemmens wins his match against Danny Jansen then he will pass out Barry. Apart from this its going to take a QF run at a minimum from someone behind him to get ahead.

Lennon will be hoping to win some mone toward his tour card qualification hopes while Mansell and Slevin will be looking to increase their World Championship appearance hopes

Lennon wins his first round match 6-3 coming back from 6-1 down

Keane Barry wins his first round game. He needs a decent run (or a few!) to get into the Players championship finals

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,498 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL
