The FO in my area is brilliant. If there's a hold up with an application or a renewal, it's not at his end.

Based in North Clare so not a busy area. Application dropped in 3 weeks ago today, 1st application but they do know me in there. All the reference calls were made within 2 days but have heard nothing since. Obviously with the calls being made so soon after, I had expectations of the process completing quickly. I have had no contact, emails, phone, etc. Would you leave it another week or what is the general consensus?

I normally give it a month and then give the FO a shout to make sure it's on their desk at least.

First they came for the socialists...

1st time will take a long time. 3 months

Once again, falling into the trap.

BY LAW, cannot take more than 3 months, DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT TAKES 3 MOMTHS.

If you can do the job, do it. If you can't do the job, just teach it. If you really suck at it, just become a union executive or politician.

My first one took 51 days. And that included Christmas and new years as I lodged on 24th Dec.

As is always the case, when you mention it; grant letter arrived in the door this morning, 3 weeks turnaround pretty much.
