Radiators not working after bleeding

Since we turned on the heating a month ago a few of rads weren't heating up fully. I bled all of them yesterday and since then two downstairs rads are not heating up at all. Boiler serviced last month and a Power Flush was done about 4 years ago. Any suggestions as to what's causing this and what the fix might be?

Pressure is prob at zero. Top up the pressure

Thanks - I am not too mechanical minded! where and how would I do this?

Go to the boiler and look at the pressure gauge. As above its dropped after bleeding. It should have a green zone on the face of it, between 1 and 1.5 bar. Find your filling loop it'll either be on a flexi or a lever under the boiler itself. Open this until the pressure rises to the required level. Post up a picture of the boiler and pipe work around it if you're unsure, but plenty of videos available on YouTube. You may need to bleed the rads one more time and increase pressure again.

If you want to post a pic of the boiler and pipework I can point it out. Not a good time to be without heat!

No that's a drain off, don't open that one anyway!! Take a pic from further back try to get all the pipework around the boiler.

Thats a valve for draining the system. Are there any more taps/valves in or around the bottom of the boiler?

There must be, it might be just a shut off valve that opens with a screwdriver so not really obvious

The filling valve for mine was installed in the hotpress.

Is there a pipe coming down from a header tank. It may have a valve on the pipe.

Would it require a key and the valve is under the unit?

Re the video it depends if its an internal, external or keyless filling loop if I get a pic of the entire underneath of the boiler it should be clear

That's where it should fill from, if there isn't a blue handle on that I suspect its an external filling loop so follow that pipe as far as you can, check your hotpress/ airing cupboard around the hot water tank too.

8/10 filling valves are usually in the hotpress. Don’t be minding videos on YouTube from England.

post pics of your hotpress. There’s also no such thing as an internal filling valve. That would require you opening the boiler cover, therefore technically you’re breaking the law.

Mine are also in Hot press with another gauge and levers either side to open and top up central heating.

OP's boiler is in the shed so may have been fed differently to norm, hence the post.

The one uninsulated pipe in the OP's first pic is the one i'd follow.

I’d follow the actual plumbers advice and not have the op looking for the filling valve on the prv discharge.
