Annoys me that anytime I've seen a camera pan to Ronaldo on any game he's attending that the commentator has to mention how he's larger than he was back when he was playing. Hamilton again the culprit.

I'd put it to him that a lot of ex pros are larger now than when they played.

Seems particularly in poor taste with his weight gain being down to health problems (hypothyroidism) too.

Not sure if Brazil are quite poor or the swiss quite good I'm sure it's a combo of both.

Brazil passing is slow enough and only openings coming through the wide men doing something special.

Swiss haven't done much going forward seem afraid to try play the killer ball the few times they have had room in the last year third of the pitch.

Sorry, I wasn’t very clear. What I meant was, if the ref deems time to be up (which he did), he doesn’t have to allow the corner to be taken. You could argue he shouldn’t have deemed time to be up due to the injury just beforehand but that’s a separate argument.

Basically, should he have added more time due to the injury - probably. Should he have added time solely because a team has a corner - absolutely not.

Really hope he's not to be honest... good at football and all, but christ it'd be depressing to see him dedicating his first goal to Jair Bolsonaro, as he's already said he'd do. Think we could all do without that sort of right-wing rubbish.
