    Update, I never got a reply to my email to the company @kdevitt mentioned, where they have a min order of €500, so i ordered off the ebay link above, thanks @w124man

    Just want to say a big thanks to everybody who posted here, really appreciate the help!

    Another update, the upright/sensor came the other day so I decided to test the sensor before going through the trouble of fitting it and finding it does not work.

    First test was to measure resistance and compare with the good side, perfect result there.

    Then I tested with a PC based oscilloscope. For those not familiar, that's a electronics test instrument that basically shows a graph of voltage over time. First pic shows the sensor and a serrated blade which is similar to the sensor wheel on the hub.

    I then put a bit of paper over it to protect the sensor and rubbed the blade up and down over it and could see a signal on the scope, about 0.25 volts, second pic.
