The air sometimes gets a bit smoggy with all the fires being lit and it sort of sits there in the evening. Not nice when out for a run or walk.

By this time of year I assume you mean winter - in that case in all seriousness I absolutely hate that as soon as halloween is over you're into listening to shite about Christmas

I absolutely hate the run up to Christmas. Pure annoyance trying to sort a heap of things just for one day of sitting around eating a dry bird and talking waffle with the same people you talk waffle with every other day of the year. Then having to endure that no mans land of time between Christmas and new years where you don't know what day or time it is until new years eve.

If there was a button to skip December I'd hit it harder than I'd hit 1992 Pamela Anderson.

We practically invented Halloween and had our own take on it, but we rolled over and embraced the plastic commercialised version. Many european countries besides ourselves have their own unique traditions and maintain them where we go all out to copy whatever Americans do on 'de telly'
