An Irish version of Talksport?

Currently listening to Talksport via the app. They seem to have an Irish edition. Trevor Welsh currently doing a show. Wonder how long has this been going on for. You are asked to send tweets to @talksportlive which is called Talksport International.

It was there last season too. It seems to only switch to Irish presentation when the Premier League games are on and they use world commentary even if Talksport UK have the same game on with UK commentary. Often hear messages sent in from listeners in Africa and so on.

Talksport part of the Wireless Group, same as FM104, Q102 and a few others here. Show has been going for a couple of seasons, available via the Q102 app and presumably via all of the stations under the Wireless Group umbrella

Interesting that Premiership on both Talk Sport and Radio Five Live are available and no longer affected by rights issues in ROI..

Probably works well with Talksport program on Saturdays and Newstalk having the rights on Sundays

Scottish football is still blocked on BBC radio Scotland though!

There can be some nonsense Geo Blocking.

Talk Sports La Liga radio coverage was Geo blocked in Ireland even though no Irish Radio Station would ever broadcast it.

There would be a case for Talksport Ireland if DAB was around in Ireland. It would be something similar than Talksport Scotland. Sadly DAB is seen as something negative in Ireland, even though it's being rolled out more and more in other EU countries.
