If you are a man over 18, would you feel comfortable walking around town shirtless, ie bare-chested with no top on?

Or would there be something stopping you from doing that?

Only someone with the limitless confidence of a working class Dublin upbringing, could be fully comfortable.

I saw a scaldy pigeon walker come into a Cafe earlier, shirtless, and you would nof credit the wounded look on its face when a staff member had the sheer affrontery to pipe up, 'T-shirt or get out'

Pretty sure I heard some complaint about 'me human rights', but it wasn't clear, what with the language barrier.

One thing about doing at a beach or even a park to an extent but certainly an aspect of lower society where it is acceptable just because it is hot.

There were neighbours with 3 boys who used to do this on our street the minute it was sunny and they would go on about getting a full tan. They all have had skin cancer issues with one of them dead from his 3rd cancer scare although it wasn't skin cancer.

You can be sure those walking around without t shirts are not wearing sun protection so low class and stupid

I'm a bit of an adonis but yesterday after my 5k I was exhausted and roasting and took my top off for a while in the park. Some eye candy for the other park goers at least.

And the annual late night trip to A&E for their third degree sunburn.

You can be poor and have class as you can be rich and have no class. The type that take off their shirts wandering around are also the sort that spit on the ground all the time.

I remember in primary school the head master telling us we should not be spitting on the ground most of the class didn't ever think about doing it but others were very confused because their parents did it all the time.

I have no qualms with walking about shirtless. I'll always have one with me for when I'm going into a shop or whatever but walking the street topless? never give it a second thought.

Almost as bad I feel, if not as bad is same male in white sleeve less T shirt which in fact is their vest.

Sleeveless T shirts of other colours are for teenagers and athletes running around.
