Disposing of old ammo

I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction .. clearing out my fathers house after he died and I've found a box of ammo ... about 100 cartridges and about 200 rounds of various calibre rifle shells. The firearms are long gone and some destroyed .. where can I legitimately dispose / off load these ?

Local firearms dealer, or would you know any of the people your father used to shoot with, they'll know the local dealer's if you don't .

Stick it up in the for sale section with the calibers and sell/give it to a licence holder, drop it off at a firearms dealer or range.

Unless the OP has a license for them, then he is not allowed to be in possession of them let alone sell them.

AGS may allow some leeway with regard to possession of them, given their origin, but selling them here is out of the question.

I'll give the AGS a call ... I already had possession of a couple of his firearms before I destroyed them and it wasn't an issue for them as long as I kept them informed as to what I was doing
