Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Repair query - factory reset laptop while using external monitor

    Hi all,

Hoping for some inspired laptop repair advice please! Have a Samsung Salaxy Book S i5 laptop. Bought in Oct 20. Upgraded to Win11 in January. Around April some intermittent screen flickering started to occur. About a month later the screen went black. Only works now when connected to an external monitor.

Called Samsung customer service, they say it's out of 1 year warranty. They suggested it's a firmware issue and to reset to factory settings.

The issue I have is that when I try to perform the reset, the connection to the external monitor is lost during the process so can't see what to do or go through the various steps.

Are there any workarounds for this, anyone any ideas as to how it could be done (or even an alternative to reinstall the monitor)?

    Thanks in advance!
