So watching a documentary - Sex secrets: Sex trips for girls on together tv - which focuses on 'single' british women who travel to Turkey with the purpose of having sexual relationships with local turkey men. These 2 women are friends, both 50ish, one of them is married, and they both bring out their children, one of which is 17 that has a 1yr old who she brought on hols aswell. The 17yr old gets off with some man and doesnt come home til later the next day. The married 50yr old has brought her 11yr old and she's also found a Turkish fellow and is staying with her Turkish toyboy (25) for almost most of the holiday so the other 50yr old friend is minding the 11yr old (begrudgingly) and dragging him around from club to club as she's hoping to get sex from young Turkish men.

The women on it said they loved Turkey in general and that it was a great place to meet many young (poor) men because these men think by getting with older women they'll also get money, a better life etc. So kinda transactional I guess. They also said British men wouldn't pay you a compliment and don't take care of themselves.
