Second booster after Covid

Just wondering on what the current guidelines are in relation to getting your second booster after having tested positive for Covid?

Is it still 4 months? I think in UK it's currently just 4 weeks.

I know of an elderly couple who recently got Covid and their swabber frightened them by telling them it would be dangerous to get their second before the four months or up.

They're a high risk group so I would prefer to see them get their second booster much sooner if possible.

Afaik its not dangerous , just would not get max benefit antibody wise.

They are very strict in the vaccination centres about it , I suppose they have to go by guidelines. They will count the days since a registered infection starts or when a person last got a vaccine ...

I thought it was 3 months after a Covid infection and you can get a booster . And 4 months after your first booster ?

It's four months from infection before a second booster and they seem to be very strict on it. Hence many I know didn't advise about their positive antigen tests.

You are right there Jim , sorry to confuse, but it was 3 months before the first booster could be given . Came up against this myself and had to return 10 days later .
