Credit card application wait time

Hello,

I have just moved to BoI from Ulster, and started my credit card application process - however it has been 'stuck' at stage three of four, telling me someone will make contact - its been like this for more than a week.

I would like to know a timeline so I can tidy my affairs with Ulster and fully move to BoI - is there anyway I can know when my application will be assessed ?

unfortunately couldnt get a boi credit card, so went with revolut in the end, works perfect, might be an option!

Hi Ailson,

I contacted that number (I got it before you replied) and was informaded that my application was lacking a detail and needed to upload it - I would never have known this unless I rang since, the update page clearly and still says "we will contact you if we need any more information".

I emailed in the extra documents and am back to waiting again.

So this brings me back to my original question Alison, 'they will follow up' is there a time frame for this? Because the last time I was promised this I had to follow up.

They are working through a high volume at the moment, I'm afraid we do not have a definitive time frame. Generally, they will be in touch again within 72 business hours.
