SDs have no need of Labour TDs, because they are eating into their vote and getting their own untainted people elected.

Labour's membership is generally elderly and problem mostly close to retirement age if not beyond - so again not the right demographic for an up and coming party.

Labour's voting base deserted them after their participation in what was probably the most rightwing, uncaring government since CnaG in the 1920s.

Which means that SDs are doing grand and have no need of the parasites that destroyed Labour and turned the party into an irrelevancy.

A bit like a confession extracted by the Inquisition I expect!

    Standard stuff from SF.

What's shocking is that anyone is remotely surprised. McCartney, Quinn, Cahill… always the same, circle the wagons and protect the party. They were never fit to govern and thankfully after this they never will.

The happiest man in SF at the moment is Eoin O Broin. Having made such major stance as 'the man with the housing plan', his big reveal turned out to be a glorified 1st year college project. No traction with the electorate and thankfully for him, no serious analysis.

He will now be able to sidestep the blame if the upcoming election goes awry, and will claim 'if only it had been about policy....etc'

He is staying well clear of the current mess and now looks like the next 'Anointed One' for the Andersonstown cabal.

He is staying well clear but his wife isn’t. That’s a problem in itself. He may be the best boy in the class at the moment but she’s one of the people who had a hand in digging the hole the party finds itself in now. It’s not a good look fir him.

Focking hell , that party and all associated with it are devoid of any shred of common decency

You are cracking at the seams and now engaging in self-pity with a dollop of MAGA style "It's the media's fault!!"

People like you are the problem of SF. You seem to exist in an alternative reality where you simply want to play by other rules but cry foul when called out on it. The longer people like yourself fanatically support the cult of SF, the longer out of power they will be as Irish people aren't as stupid as you seem to think.

However much you fault them SF have done something impossible they have taken the shine off of Cobalt…

The only way that SFs week could get any worse is if Cobalt turned out to be one of theirs as well

It’s great SF have an abundance of concern for mental health now and couldn’t drag their deities through resignation woes. Te mental health of the families of the disappeared doesn’t matter so much though.

Cobalt is a FG senator going by the gossip in Leinster hse.

Sarah McInerney roasting the poor SF TD alive on RTE.

Also, SF TD just let out that the child on the receiving end of the text messages was a 'he'.

I was honest earlier on. The texting case in the north looked bad for MLMD but listening to what they actually did there and the reason for not saying it publicly I can see nothing wrong with what she did. Maybe the statement on his Seanad resignation was a bit over the top but if you are concerned with child protection you have to be mindful of mental health.

Textbook handling of it tbh. Report to the PSNI and Social Services, remove him from the Seanad and the party.

😀😀😀😀 unbelievable but normal serviced resumed.

Yeh…of course the 'decent' thing according to you is that MLMD should've had a 'quiet word' with whoever was in charge to say O'Donnghaile was a 'bad 'un' and got him sidelined.

That's the 'decent' thing to do in your book, is it?

it illustrates SF’s ultimate loyalties and priorities with regard it how it views the “Free state” namely that such allegiance is secondary to its ultimate loyalty to the shadowy masters in Belfast or wherever who “haven’t gone away you know”. It’s always been evident in the mealy way that SF reps have suggested that any members with knowledge of a crime should bring that detail to thePSNI or The Gardai, when it were quite evident in so many of such cases there were any amount of people within SF and the Republican movement who had full knowledge of all the details and suspects in particular crimes but would never betray one of their own to “the peelers”. So they’ve only ever used The Gardai as a last resort when it suited their needs and after their internal mechanisms of investigation and enforcement had been concluded, just like they settled maters in the good old days up North. Now that’s all coming back to bite them in the ass. You can’t serve two masters, sooner or later you have to decide where your real loyalties lie.

I hope you know at this stage your opinion on anything SF related is so biased that most genuine posters skip by it.

This might save you another 18 hours of deflection posting tomorrow and for the rest of the week.

Your defence\downplaying of this incident and the rest of them in the last few weeks is sickening but at the same time shines a good light on the cult so thanks for that.

It was mentioned earlier that both complainants were hes.

I thought the SF TD actually did OK considering the circumstances.

In the Stanley case it's a she:

"The complaint made against Deputy Stanley is very serious. The complaint relates to an incident that took place in October 2023 and relates to Deputy Stanley’s personal behaviour leaving the complainant, in her words, traumatised and distressed," she said

Then the 2 male complaints against O'Donnghaile are male.

You could see the slap in the face the government guy got almost physically when his ‘SF are anti everything’ spiel went down in flames as McInerney roasted it.
    He kinda faded after that.

I’m starting to think Lynn Boylan is the other party in the Brian Stanley incident. It explains her wading in on Saturday and could be explained by her being angry. It might also explain the timing of the complaint in the first place.

Anyone caught up to no good goes straight to the doctor to get a sick note about their mental health.

Not one person, apart from the doctor, believes they have mental health issues.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,088 ✭✭✭Clo-Clo

Ahh everyone ignores the gibberish at this stage

Well the odd time I need a laugh I look at it.

Its also been fun to watch the clearly paid for TikTok accounts going into overdrive at the moment trying to deflect from the shitstorm around SF. It's all crumbling down and SF answer is to flood TikTok with noise about anythign and everything to hope nobody notices MLMD and the party falling apart. Hilarious

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,735 ✭✭✭Finty Lemon

SF trying to commandeer mental health as a cover story for their own ends is a further egregious act. Despicable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 78,779 ✭✭✭✭FrancieBrady

Several ignorant comments from you hotmail.
If you lived with a loved one with mental health issues you might have a little more empathy.
By all means have at SF but less of the hurtful stuff maybe? No need for it.

Plenty of information available on the web of the abuse and coverup by SF and by the PIRA, just need to find it. None of it which has ever been touched by main stream media or anyone really.

Plenty of stuff has hit main stream media just people ignore
