20222 seems a long way off, hard to know who is going to be good in 18000 years.

Frank gore will still be playing, Brady will still be QB, and that will be it.

I hope this is not the first thread someone sees after waking up...

Whoever gets Tyler Linderbaum are a lucky team.

A lot of teams seem to think there's great value in the middle rounds of this draft.

There might not be as much moving up to grab a player as we normally see.

Shocking how little talk there is about this draft. Presume the main reason is nobody seems to rate the quarterbacks?

More buzz about free agency and trades this year definitely.

Happy Draft Day. Lets hope we bag a few goodens

True about the QBs but for the most part very few players rated as elite, especially in 'exciting' positions - the media loves throwing out 'generational' at every opportunity and even they are struggling the hype anyone up.

Rather than players they are pushing the uncertainty angle to the casuals, which personally think will make the next few days quite interesting.

The build up to this draft definitely has less buzz due to QBs not dominating the discussion but I think this year in some ways is more intriguing as I don't think there is much between most of the top prospects with as many good players available outside the top 10

There will be more teams looking to trade back rather than up, unless there is a very early run on QBs or wide receivers I don't see many teams giving up crazy amounts of capital to move up seen in recent years which bad news for Jacksonville, Detroit, Houston, Giants, Carolina who are all surely are open to moving back from where they all are

I'll stay up tonight to catch the first 10 picks, if there are surprises I may stick it right through it, Vegas is some location to hold this!

I'm of the opinion that the best player in the draft is Kyle Hamilton. It's just that safety isn't a major concern for many teams. He's projected to go in the mid to late teens. If this guy stays injury free he'll be a multi All-pro and pro-bowler.

Reading between the lines of what the analysts on NFL Network suggests to me that Hutchinson is going #1.

    Or not!

Lions get the man they want, then.

I think Walker is the right pick at no.1, he's a wrecking ball with incredible athleticism for his size.

Hopefully the Chiefs trade up for a good WR.

    Stingley goes before Gardner

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,861 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

How was that crowd reaction? 😂

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

He definitely has a lot of upside, but I think right now Hutchinson is the better player.

Don't think the Giants can complain too much with getting Thibodeaux as well as one of Neal/Ekwonu.

Board fell perfectly for them with Texans taking Stingley.

Thought it would be other way around

Still we should get a good OT anyway

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,034 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

Saints first trade of the night

    QB surely

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,861 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

    Trades coming in now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,034 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

Bit strange to give up so much for a WR

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,034 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

Baltimore get very good player in Hamilton

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,861 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Hollywood Brown to the Cardinals and AJ Brown to the Eagles, this is getting fun.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Kirk and the Jags are responsible for all this WR craziness. Teams would rather draft a rookie than pay who they have.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,636 ✭✭✭phatkev

Draft is drunk, time to go home!

Pickett to the Steelers at 20, he seems happy about it.
